I am Matthias Tschabold, a Swiss poet and writer. My works—from collections of poems such as The Dispossession to my novel The Rise of the Cicadas—explore existential and spiritual questions. After years of teaching French and philosophy, I now live and write in Zurich. For me, literature remains a space of language, thought, and encounter.
